Sara Evans Bio from: http://saraevans.com/index.htm?id=15093&sid=11789
Strength, versatility and a spunky sense of adventure are qualities more often associated with literary heroines than successful country singers, but then
there's nothing typical about Sara Evans. Whether dominating country radio airwaves with one of her many hit singles or attracting a new legion of fans
with her spirited turn on "Dancing with the Stars," Evans' drive, talent and determination have placed her in an elite class of artists who
transcend musical genres to become a household name.
Her musical accomplishments are celebrated with the release of "Sara Evans-Greatest Hits." The 14-song collection features 10 of Evans' signature
songs as well as four inspired new songs, worthy of taking their place alongside such modern classics as "No Place That Far," "A Real Fine Place
to Start," and "Born to Fly."
The greatest hits package marks the first time Evans has worked with acclaimed producer John Shanks (Bon Jovi, Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban, The Wreckers). That
collaboration produced four new tunes, including "As If," the lead single from Evans' hits collection. "He's just amazing to work with
and he was exactly what I needed for this project. I know I'll work with him again--IF he'll have me," Evans says with a smile. "He
doesn't do anything like everybody normally does. He has no formula."
For Evans, releasing a greatest hits package is like looking back through a photo album; each song is a snapshot that brings a flood of memories. "My
first No. 1 record came when I was pregnant with Avery," she recalls of "No Place That Far" which hit the top of the charts as she was expecting
her son, now eight-years-old. "I remember that time because it was the most amazing time in my life. I thought things could absolutely not get any better.
I was expecting my first child and having my first No. 1 record."
Indeed, Evans was on her way to becoming one of the most successful female artists of her generation--a compelling, heart-in-the-throat heir to Loretta Lynn
and Tammy Wynette. She's won numerous accolades, among them the Academy of Country Music's Female Vocalist of the Year and the Country Music
Association's Video of the Year for "Born to Fly". She was named 2006 Female Vocalist of the Year in the R&R Reader's Poll and has been
celebrated as one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People."
Evans has earned numerous #1 hits, two of which she co-wrote, including "Born to Fly," "No Place That Far," "Suds In The Bucket"
and "A Real Fine Place to Start," which spent two weeks at the top of the country charts. Of the five albums Evans has released, her sophomore set,
"No Place That Far," has been certified gold; 2001's "Born to Fly" is double-platinum and 2003's "Restless" and
2005's "Real Fine Place" are both platinum….

Potts, a real Memphis legend, whose extensive credits include Booker T. & the MG's, The Allman Brothers, and even Golden Earring. Steve is a six-time

Sax master Lannie McMillan will leave you breathless. You might have heard him with Dionne Warwick, The Staple Singers, The Moody Blues, Foghat, and Stevie Ray
Vaughan, just to name a few. Now he can blow you away with PARTY PLANET.

of people since 2006 playing major festivals, college and club scenes.
Mississippi based CROSSIN DIXON have made a name for themselves in only a short time by performing in front of over 100,000 people in 2006 playing the college
and club scene. Since their formation in 2004, CROSSIN DIXON has averaged more than 100 shows a year.
In addition to packing out their own shows, CROSSIN DIXON has shared the stage with numerous high profile and national touring artists. A few of these artists
include; John Anderson, Merle Haggard, Jimmy Wayne, Andy Griggs, David Allen Coe, Craig Morgan, Steve Azar, Dierks Bently, Restless Heart, Sammy Kershaw, Aaron
Tippin, Bad Company, Confederate Railroad and Jason Aldean.
After an introduction from a mutual friend in 2006, the band met record producer Michael Knox (Jason Aldean "HickTown" and "Why"). "I
haven't heard vocals like theirs since Alabama" Knox says. "They really have something special."
In September 2006, CROSSIN DIXON signed a record deal with Broken Bow Records in Nashville, TN with label mates Jason Aldean and Craig Morgan. Since signing
their deal the band has embarked on a nationwide radio tour, visiting all the major markets and radio stations.
CROSSIN DIXON is geared toward two things: entertainment and fun. This is one of those rare groups that love what they do and nowhere is it more evident than
in the interaction between the band members. These guys are fun to watch before they hit the first note. When the lights go down and the band hits the stage
you can feel the energy building.
All the hard work and endless touring has definitely paid off for CROSSIN DIXON as they continually pack the honky-tonks and roadhouses to capacity all over
the country. The band is anxiously awaiting the release of their new single and new CMT video. Be sure to catch this band next time they are in your area. It
will definitely be worth the price of admission....
Michael Stacey Band info from: http://www.michaelstacey.com/bio.htm
Michael Stacey was born in the small southern town of Hahira, Georgia and spent most of his childhood traveling due to his father's occupation. Early on, Michael was influenced by an array of performers, from traditional country artists such as George Jones and Alan Jackson, to popular rock, folk, and Motown acts of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. As and adult, he found his way back to Georgia to settle down not far from his birthplace. In his mid twenties, Michael began playing local clubs throughout South Georgia. Persistency and hard work enabled Michael to record his first studio demo in 2000. Some months later, Michael took the advice of a record executive, and set out for Nashville, Tennessee. In no time at all, Michael began to record the earliest tracks his debut album, "After the Storm", which was released July 2001. Michael jumped right into promoting his music heavily with Television, Radio, Print, and most importantly, a top-notch live show. Over the past few years the Michael Stacey Band has traveled the U.S. performing at various venues and sharing the stage with such popular acts as Brad Paisley, Wynonna, Neal McCoy, and Lonestar, just to name a few. The Michael Stacey Band even open for Michael's childhood hero, George Jones. Michael sums it up by saying, "It's a blessing to play music for a living. I appreciate my family's support and all of the folks who take the time to stop and listen to the music
BroadBAND info from: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=47169539
The band is broadBAND and as the self-effacing name implies all the members are women. The "gimmick" of having all women in a band is rendered a
"gimmick" only because of the dearth of female back-up musicians in the music industry as a whole-tons of female singers but not so many gal
drummers, guitarists, and fiddle players. But the "gimmick" wouldn't work if the music was just average-and apparently it isn't with this
group as all of the members of broadBAND have impressive credentials. Individually and together they have opened for all the biggies in country music from
George Jones and Dwight Yoakham to Rascal Flatts and Sugarland. Lead singer Shelly Bush has even sang the national anthem at a handful of Nascar races and
several of them have included televised appearances.
There are few acts that showcase the talent and vocal ability than that of country sensation BroadBAND. The five-girl group seemed destined to find each
other in the crazed and sometimes overwhelming streets of Nashville. After constant run-ins with each of the other four girls while playing downtown Nashville
shows, Shelly Bush decided to take a chance to see what magic could be made if each girl's unique talents were brought together as one. A mix of southern
rock, pop and country girl power, the band has an immense ability to charm any crowd. In the past four years, the industry has also taken notice as the band
has opened for such country stars as Sugarland, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, Brooks & Dunn, Dwight Yoakum and many more. Not only do their
harmonies and musical talents set them apart, but also the rare mix of each girl taking lead through out their shows. Broadband would not have the talent that
it does without each illustrious member
