Dear Friends......I just got off the phone with my best friend who is also the Designated Driver for our Group that makes the trip to Tunica once a year, and she is in need of your prayers. She has been having some severe pain in her left arm and has been seeing her Doctor now for abt 3 weeks, she just had another appt today.....has had an MRI done and to make a long story short.....he told her she has a herniated disc in her neck, which is causing the pain to radiate down into her arm......she's been taking muscle relaxers (while she works)....but anything stronger she has to take after she gets home from work ( she also has to drive 25 miles each way to & from work) and when you're in pain that makes a long trip home. Doctor had said ....it's a shot in the neck, pain management, or Surgery. Got the epidural shot in the neck last week, thought it was working but over the week-end things got worse.....she's worn to a frazzle and she's worried about the Groups Trip.....I told her Tunica is not going anywhere....she's more important, we want her to be able to enjoy herself and not be sitting around in pain just because she doesn't want to disappoint the Group! Please say a Prayer for her, she's the youngest member in our Group and just sent her ONLY child off to College....so I'm sure the stress of that milestone was a key player in her pain as well. Praying ....she will not surgery! Thanks.
