We decided to move our vacation up by a week. The only reservations I had made were for Harrahs. We would be stopping in
Council Bluffs, Tunica and Biloxi before heading to Orlando. As I made the reservations online, I tried to change them online but ended up having to phone
Harrahs.
Did the Tunica one first and spent about 3 minutes going through voice prompts on the phone before I got to Tunica reservations. The voice on the other end was
very pleasant and I had no problem changing the reservations. After I got them changed, I asked if he could do the Biloxi reservation. He said he couldn't
do it and that I would have to phone the toll free number again and get the Biloxi
agent. Did that and got Biloxi changed.
Exact same scenario for Council Bluffs. This one was a bit different as the agent seemed to ask a lot more questions IE companions total reward number etc. I
told her everything was one my existing reservation. Didn't matter still had to answer all these questions.
Got that one changed also but it took about 5 times the amount of time to get it changed.
All in all the agents were very pleasant but it was a bit of a pain phoning the toll free number 3 times and going through all the prompts. I'm sure the
agents are in the same building and it's too bad they couldn't just transfer you or change all the reservations for you at once.
I guess in the grand scheme of things, this was just a bit of a convenience but no deal.
Has anyone else ever got lost in the phone jungle when dealing with casinos.
