I play VP and usually play where I am staying. We stayed at GS last night on their Birthday Bash offer which included a meal, a bathrobe, a chance at freeplay and the room. I did not win any freeplay but was sitting at the bar playing poorly paying BP and ended up hitting the progressive for $1400. Can't really complain, the machine was handing out full houses and 3 oaks along with a few 4oaks. It kept me playing long enough to hit the Royal. I guess I don't feel I play often enough to worry too much about the paytables. I am there to have fun and hopefully hit a royal. There are a few machines at GS that tend to hit often for me. One bank right off the lobby towards the left if you are looking in from the lobby, only 5 machines there but the machine closest to the tables tends to do well for me and keep me playing and in the bar off the casino, last seat on the right does well for me, though that one the paytable is HORRIBLE, but hell who cares when it gives you the royal.
