I'm curious. Did last night's Obama's Hollywood production change any McCain supporters to become Obama supporters?
If I were an Obama supporter, it would have turned me off. Such a waste for so much money (reportedly $300 million) that could have been used so much more wisely.

Simmie,
Thanks so much for your poll! It is the only poll I had to look at that McCain was chosen by the people that voted in it! My friend is working at the polls in Florida today and said with each ballot she hands out she will say a silent prayer. I keep hoping we will see another "Harry Truman" happening but I don't think it will happen. Majority rules. Hey, this is an add on, The Dead are voting again in MO! Do they vote in your state too? Sorry, Kathy, I missed your post the first couple of days and I've just plain been busy the last couple.
In the township that I was election chairman, we had almost 90% turn out. The TV made everyone afraid of getting caught in the crowd, so they all came out early. We were really busy the first 3-4 hours. Then it slowed down a little and got downright quiet the last 4 hours. We were really expecting a rush from 4-8 but it didn't happen. No actual dead people voted in this township but a lot of brain dead people did

Aretta:I am sure you see all kinds of people coming in to vote.
On a more serious note. One of my friend's mother voted early (98 years old), and she died November 3---the day before election day. But, her vote counted. She loved politics, and voting. Glad you survived your busy day. Now---get back to Windsor where you belong!

Carol, I don't know what the election rules are in Ohio, but in Michigan, your friend's mother's vote would not have counted. If someone cast an
absentee ballot and dies before the election, we have to reject the ballot. But if we don't know they died, we just process like all the others. Our
community is small, so if someone dies, it's not too long before we know it.
I'm really trying to get to Windsor. Hopefully, this weekend if my hip will function to be able to go. I'm going to the chiro tomorrow and hope that solves the problem.

I just assumed her vote would be counted. Don't know for sure. I will have to ask Lois if she knows if her Mother's vote was counted.
Good Luck this weekend at Windsor. Hope you feel real good and have lots of luck at the slots. Hope Duane gets a Royal! Wouldn't he be happy? Even with only one coin in......
