I would doubt it.
I don't know about the casinos at Tunica that offer video machines with 3 card draw poker, but in Vegas the video machines have different pay tables and therefore the paytables in Tunica probably vary also: 95.52 to 97.92 in Vegas, according to the Wizard of Odds. |

I have never seen a 3 card poker video machine in Tunica, or anywhere else for that matter. I suspect that most of the casinos offer live 3 card poker, I dont
know the pay offs. I have played in Biloxi only.
Here is what Gold Strike says: Gold Strike Tunica is proud to have the friendliest dealers and the highest limits, than any other casino in Tunica. Try your hand at the blackjack table or throw the dice for lucky seven in the craps pit. You can also try your hand at crapless craps or take a spin at the roulette table. If you're looking for a more exotic game, take a seat at one of our Mini Baccarat tables or the only Midi Baccarat game in Tunica. Gold Strike offers several other table games including Caribbean Stud, Three Card Poker, Four Card Poker, Let It Ride, and our newest game, Mississippi Stud.

Last time we were at the GS in August 08, we noticed that they changed their 3-card poker pay table: the pair plus now pays 40/30/6/3/1. It used to pay
40/30/6/4/1. The change slid the house edge on the pair plus bet from 2.32% to 7.28%! (see http://wizardofodds.com/threecardpoker ) I am not holding my breath for a change in our direction. However, I
would love nothing more than for someone to reply with info saying they switched it back.
We havent been to Biloxi in a few years, but the Beau made the same change after Katrina and we were sad to see the trend make its way to Tunica. (We don't go to Biloxi because of this plus lack of any good VP. While we play just about everything regardless of house edge, we refuse to play at casinos which make these changes. I really wish casino management would get this and stop making decisions on short term single game losses.) Not sure what other casinos in Tunica pay...its too tough to get a seat at any Harrah's property, so we dont play there. However, on our next trip to Tunica we have promised ourselves that we would visit the Hollywood. Anybody know what Hollywood's Three Card pays? Hope this helps. I really think we as a community need to talk about this problem more often and keep it in everybody's minds. The situation requires more demanding gamblers before it will get any better. Can you tell I am getting fed up? (Sorry for the negativity.) good luck!!!! |

craigjl, SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I hear you, I understand and I agree, but I think we as the gambler are (insert your own word here). The casinos are out to
make money, there are to many people wanting to gamble and they are just going to keep doing this type of thing to us.

To follow up...was at the Beau in November. Their 3 card pay table is the lower 40/30/6/3/1 as well.
