I'll have to catch that. Thanks for the info. For what it's worth, I set the dice with 3's up in a V toward the front. Since I've been
doing that I roll alot of hard 6's and 10's as well as quite a few easy 6's. I don't think I have any influence over the dice but it just
seems I see those numbers more. |

Thanks for the heads-up on setting I always use the same approach when i shoot i've read some of the books on setting and it makes sence to use the same pattern just like bowling . You position yourself and throw the same way it might not always work for you but will more often than what the wild wingers are doing. I love craps we go to Tunica 3 times year and play at Sheridan beacuse of the fire bets which we have hit a few times we also go to Harrahs St.Louis 4 or 5 times a year and at least once a month to Isle of Capri Bettendorf we live closest to Grand Victoria Elgin Illinois but dont go there since they raised the table stakes.we bet low and use a rapid progression . I think any reasonable approach to setting and throwing has to work for the good but it helps to get lucky too!!! JIM739

I was in Tunica over the Memorial Day weekend. The Horseshoe also has the fire bet. It is owned by Harrah's so maybe the other two that Harrah's owns
also has it. I live in Chicago. But I only play on $5 minimum tables. The Majestic in In also has the fire bet. It also usually has $5 minimums except for
Saturday nights. Sometimes on busy days they will raise all the tables to $10 minimums. The boats in IN are about 30 min. to 40 min. away.
The boats in IL. are actually farther from Chicago. I haven't been to The Grand Victoria in about 10 years. Back then they were already not having any $5 minimums at craps or bj. And I haven't been to the other boats in IL in a couple years because when I went on weeknights they didn't have $5 minimums. And when I went to the other two close boats in In. over a year ago on weeknights, they also didn't have $5 minimums. I also go to the Blue Chip in IN. They have $5 minimums except Fri & Sat nights I was told. But maybe they now have $5 minimums then too because the Four Winds has hurt their business. A few months ago I completed either 5 or 6 different numbers at The Four Winds in Mi. I'm not sure because the don't have the fire bet there. I hit 4 numbers once at the Majestic. And I hit 4 numbers once at the Horseshoe in Tunica a couple weeks ago. I completed 8 passline numbers, but only 4 different ones. Eddie |

I like to set up at the first position to the right of the stick man. That allows for the shortest roll on the table and I try to land the dice in the same
place and let them bounce off the wall as gently as possible. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't matter where I am the 7 rolls. If I can't
set up to the right of the stick man I've started trying to get in the first position to the left and throw left handed. That works pretty good sometimes
also.

I met a couple setters in Tunica that have taken classes. They were pretty good. They could shoot from both sides. But they used the same hand. I think
some of the schools teach it is better for right handers to learn from the left of the stick first. Then learn from the right. I don't set and have never
tried. But even if I never do set dice I think I should try to learn about it. Maybe it can help me in betting when others are shooting.

Mark Cato from St. Louis is the best dice shooter I have ever seen and I have seen all the best . He`s one of Heavy`s boys ,having been taught by the Dice
Coach-Beau in Las Vegas . Whenever he comes to town there are always an entourage around him , trying to get in on all the action.
When he calls to tell me he is coming to town , I get to the casino , get into his favorate spot and when he gets to the casino , I leave as he takes my spot and I go to another table where his favorite spot is open , slide in and wait until he comes to that table at which time I leave and go to abnother table giving him his favorite spot. He plays for hours and it`s kinda funny watching everyone move from table to table with him. I just sometimes wish I were a Rightside player (but I have taken a vow only to play the Darkside, never making a rightside wager again. Cowtippin` Dylanfreak (I finally got back online ) |
