St. Patrick’s Day means our annual celebration at The Fitz. We headed out Thursday morning, the day before and got to town around noon. Lunch was at Sam’s Town buffet, it was not the greatest, but it was free.
After a little play time at Sam’s, we headed over to Fitz, where we would be staying. Check-in was smooth, and the room clean. The room was a double instead of the king we requested, not a big surprise.
Dinner that evening we met with Dave and Carol and Jen and Hal for the buffet at Fitz. Food was good, the company was better. We talked for a long while. The ladies participated in the ladies night slot tourney. Jen had a good machine, because she placed for $25. Nobody else was so lucky. We finished the evening with Brandy hitting close to $200 on Pennie slots, making us even on the gambling budget.
Friday was St Patrick’s Day and a huge party it was. More people than I had seen in the casino in a while. The high point was me hitting $985 on a Wicked Winnings machine. Not bad for a 50 cent bet. The rest of the time there was going to be on their money.
Friday evening dinner at the Barn with Dave and Carol. It was delicious. Dave and Carol were headed back to Indiana in the morning, we visited for a while and said our farewells til next time.
Saturday we had dinner at the Steakhouse at Fitz. Listened to the awesome band they had on stage, called Aces Wild. Brandy finished on a positive by cashing out $600.
Sunday came and it was time to return to Texas with more money than we brought with us and making plans for the next adventure.
