I was in Tunica on Saturday and saw a billboard for the Gold Strike advertising a new memeber bonus of up to $500. Has any one heard about this promotion?

Yes, I am planning a trip the first weekend in June and when I received the Tunica 2008 Visitor's Guild the coupon was in there. To bad I am not a new
member to MGM just new to Tunica never been,so the coupon will not do me any good. The book also inlcuded ten bucks to Sam's Town and Play ten get ten at
Hollywood.

My wife and I returned from Tunica on 5-26-08. We went to the players sign up desk. There was a big line. She was a new member. But they had me there in
1999, so I wasn't a new member. They gave her a scratch off that said win from $5 to $500. She won $5. Everyone that we saw was winning $5. We
didn't see anyone win a higher amount.

I went over the weekend to sign up and they said that I already had a player's card. I told them that I had never played there before. Then they said
that I signed up online (which was true but I had forgotten). Even though I never picked up the card, they wouldn't give me the scratch off ticket. Oh
well, I will just keep giving my business to the other casinos.

I was going to take my Mom down and sign up, thinking it was a REAL bonus deal, like free slot play.
But now that I know what it is, I am so glad we did not waste our time. Of course everyone is winning $5. What a joke! |
