Since joining this forum, I&#39;ve read various accounts of scam artists who &quot;work&quot; the casinos.  Maybe if we share our stories, we can be more
vigilant, and avoid being conned.  Have you ever been approached by one of them?

			<description><![CDATA[ The crowd at the GS Last Sunday made me a little nervous. There was a group of young men sitting a few machines over from me and they kept walking by looking
at my machine. I ignored them and played on. Security was walking around and I knew all I needed to do was get their attention. One came up and asked me how I
was doing and bummed a cigarette I gave him one and told him I was losing he walked away thanked me for the cigarette and wished me luck. That was the end of

			<description><![CDATA[ I also remember a post by someone who said they were called over to a car outside a casino, and were told their family had been stranded, and they had no money
for gas.  Then someone in the car would reach out, and snatch the victim&#39;s purse, as they sped away.  I am of a mind, where I wouldn&#39;t believe a true
story, if they were down on their knees.

			<description><![CDATA[ We had a scam by a guy at a nearby gas station. He called my husband over to the car and told him that his car had been broken into and his wife&#39;s purse
had been stolen with $900 in it. He said they had a room at Sam&#39;s Town that we could have for $30 gas money. He said he had children with him and showed
Jerry the carseat from the backseat. He needed to get home to Georgia. We looked at the car and there was no damage and we couldn&#39;t figure out why they

			<description><![CDATA[ Jen--really what you need to do is call security to take care of this type of person.

As you never know what they may do and the casinos just don&#39;t put up with it.

			<description><![CDATA[ Jen, that is a very scary story.  I think they select women playing alone, because of the intimidation factor.  And two-against-one makes it even more
intimidating.  I&#39;ve had as many as 4 people crowd around me, and keep making comments on how well I&#39;m doing on a machine......even if I&#39;m just

I have seen it to the point where people would sleep in their cars and beg for money until they got enough for gas to get home..

Then again I have seen the same people begging for gas month after month.

My worst experience was at the Golden Moon.

I was playing a Bingo type slot (haven&#39;t seen it to this day in Tunica) and a couple sat down behind me turning the chairs around from the bank across the
