What a great Report! Happy Belated Birthday!!
Glad to hear Ya'll are doing well.
I missed our January Poker session. LOL it was always a good way to start the year off and running.
The pics are great. Sounds like ya'll had a blast. Creamsicle martini huh? Sounds too good.
Glad to know I am not the only one who takes pictures of food LOL.

Pete is working for himself now. He calls the "company" Creative Services. We
started this in late April of 2008. (after searching for work for over a year--knew the
lay off was possible) He has a contract with the (very) local TV station where he sells

Thanks for the great report, Julia. What a way to spend a birthday.

I agree that being a diamond isn't a really big deal. I just got my diamond card today that's good until 3/20/10. I will be surprised if I make it for the next year.

I hope your hubbys employment looks up in this bad economy.

Great report, Julia! Sounds like you guys really had a great time. I sure do miss going to Las Vegas. I also loved your pictures. The food ones were really making me hungry. I need to try one of those fried twinkies....it looked really good.

What a great report, I enjoyed every word. Great pictures also. We stayed at IP back in the 90's, we didn't have a view either, but like you said, at least we had a balcony. I hope Pete has found a job. Keep us posted on what is going on.

Romancing the Stone-the Last Diamond Trip

March 15 - 20 Las Vegas

So, here's the thing-we accidently made "diamond" status in September of 2007. We were in Metropolis Illinois and as soon as we realized we had crossed that 10,000 point mark, we asked if they could issue us a diamond card right away as we were scheduled to go on a junket to Reno in less than a month. They did, and we dreamed of all the special times we would have with our high status...
