Just happened to find this thread and thought I would add a note.

1 - My wife has a bunch of LITTLE purses she gets in those $10 sections at many casinos. No straps or fanny packs for her.

2 - Regaring Rewards points and Biloxi. Assume you have tried to book online. Depending on your level of play, free rooms are not hard to get. But yes, you can use your points down there, but I personally prefer Beau Rivage. Grand hotel is nice. Casino is very basic.

Hello Ladies! I know this appears to be a continuous update on the handbag we're trying to create. Thank you all for your patience. What an experience, I can tell you that. But we do continue on (always with new ideas, etc). In addition to the handbag, we will be creating small cosmetic bags (initially ones you can carry in your purse) but in the future large travel cosmetic bags as well. Those will probably be ready long before the purse because there's not much to the style....

I wanted to keep you all up to date with the casino purse. There's much more to creating a purse than we thought but we continue to work with it. We have started our own design line now (copyrighting our designs and everything). Wow - I'll have to check out the names suggested. I'm sure we'll find the perfect name. I spent most of the last two days creating the "draft" of the purse, sewing, basting, pinning, etc. Still have more to do; however, will then work with someone to create it so it's at least "usable" to try out. Hello all - met with an Intellectual Property attorney today to discuss patents, etc. Very interesting. We didn't want to get too far into the process of creating this purse and then have someone steal the idea. More to this than meets the eye. I can say; however, that we will not be able to use Lady Luck as the purse name because it has been Trademark Registered for the use of bags. And that means we could possbily be sued if we used the name. So we'll have to come up with...

Oh Paula, I have been meaning to email you. I saw a friend of mine in the casino the other day and she had a cool lightweight purse she bought in a casino years ago. She said she would love a new one (not worn out like that one definitely was lol).
It had a long cord for a strap, the "body" of the purse was to her waist. It measured maybe 6x8 inches and was fabric with a couple of zippers and lots of pockets inside. The outside was Marilyn Monroe with (I think) Las Vegas screen...

I do have several ladies willing to help create the prototype, which will be great (but still take time to create) and maybe get the prototype out to those of you on this thread to try it out, see what's good, etc. So basically, you all could be our test market (no cost to you!). Since everyone seems very interested in acquiring a "fer real" casino purse, I did a little checking on the internet. As yet, I haven't found one site that sells what you'd call a "casino purse." The closest I've found is a cloth bag that has one zipper on top, and a casino theme for the material. That's it!

I would never wear a fanny pack, unless I'm on vacation or going to a casino.

But being a woman.....and not wanting to carry around a purse, that could be easily stolen, I have a fanny pack loaded with my essentials: Lipstick, powder, a small coin purse that holds my Driver's License & my money, Handi-Wipes, a pair of reading glasses when my eyes get tired, all my casino cards, plus my husband's casino cards, pain reliever (aspirin, Aleve, whatever), buffet and free money...
