			<title><![CDATA[ Missed Oct trip ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Well for the first time in a long time we had to miss our Oct. trip. In late Sept. Dan had to have a PET scan. They found cancer on his left lung. Thursday
they removed a wedge from the lung but it looks like it went down to his lower lobe. It is very small and chemo with radiation should take care of it. At least
that is what we are praying for. He should be home this coming Monday but will need lots of prayers. He will have to heal from the operation before he can
start the chemo. Dan said... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Thought I was going to get through the autumn this year without a hospitalization.

For the past 5 years, each autumn has brought something around.  One year, I fell off a ladder and broke some ribs and had a minor operation.   One year, I had
a major aorta operation.  A little of this and a little of that.
<br>
<br>
Last Tuesday (10-20) I had a sore throat.  Thursday, I started to cough.  No fever.  Saturday night at about 10:45 I was gasping for breath.  Called 911.

			<description><![CDATA[ Hello gang i have bad news.i have a blood to my left leg this time. last time it was the right leg. and hurting no better than this one. it was the doctors
fault. so my nurses at the rest home have made it bearable.i was vomiting on my self. boy i felt worse.

but then i started to get better after i took some pills for a very upset belly. it worked.now i feel better. thanks to god and my nurses. but my blood clott.

			<description><![CDATA[ I haven&#39;t been on here for a while but I wanted to pop in and let you guys know that my 28 yr old son Keith passed away Thursday night.  It&#39;s a long
story but he suffered a gun shot to the head 18 years ago that left him unable to walk or talk and with cerebral palsy.  He had a wonderful life and was full
of smiles and joy. He was not suppsed to survive the accident but we were given 18 wonderful years more with him.  Through all these years everyone marvelled

My niece Cheryl passed away last night at the age of 36. Cheryl was not an ordinary person. She was born with CF and beat the odds by living past her teen

			<description><![CDATA[ Please keep my daughter (she is 31) in your prayers please.  She recently had a mammogram since during her annual checkup her doctor thought she felt something
in one of her breasts.  Mammogram found something and they scheduled her for an ultrasound.  The ultasound indicated she has a tumor and they scheduled her to
consult with a surgeon.  He has scheduled her for a stereotactic biopsy on Tuesday but he is hoping that it is just a lymph node.  We are staying positive but

			<description><![CDATA[ Well gang, Tom and the hospitals are kinda like peas and carrots. (stolen from forrest gump)

We had to call the ambulance again (Thursday night) this is twice in the last couple of weeks he has had to be hospitalized.  Both times he has passed out from
chest pains.
<br>
He is ICU at Baptist Desoto hospital waiting on a procedure scheduled Thursday.

This time when he passed out he fell forward and broke his arm. They will operate on it probably Friday or Monday.

			<description><![CDATA[ Bob is home !!! Emory released/transferred him to our local hospital.  We had to charter a med-flight to bring him back home, and now have to battle with the
insurance company for reimbursement. He was in the local hospital for 2 days and they wanted to send him to rehab, but he refused to go, so they sent him home
and have physical therapists and nursing staff coming out daily to oversee his care.  It is going to be a long road back to being the healthy individual he was

80-85% sure that it is cancer.  She goes back next week for another scan, and then to talk to the Urologist about surgery.  Because she is so heavy, he will
not be able to do the surgery himself, and she will have to go to either Cleveland or Columbus for the surgery where they have doctors that do the non-evasive

Ed was having a procedure done on his (I think) stints in his legs which were put in a couple of years ago.
<br>
Complications have arisen and he is now Cardio Pulmonary Transplant Unit ICU.
<br>
They are waiting on the doctor&#39;s to come talk to them.

			<title><![CDATA[ Mr. Hound Dog's Son in Hospital Again ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Jerry&#39;s son had his kidney removed today.  After his last operation of having a large mass removed from the kidney, the kidney still didn&#39;t function. 
They ran into complications today.  Scar tissue had formed covering the liver and the kidney.  They had to get that out before they could take the kidney out. 
In the process of getting it out they nicked the liver.!  It bled and bled.  He needed several pints of blood before they got the bleeding stopped.  He will be

			<description><![CDATA[ Back before Christmas I had a real scare. I was painting and had a pain that went from my chest to my head. It lasted about 5 minutes. This really scared me
and I went into a walk in clinic. The doctor checked me out and said I seemed to be OK. He referred me to a specialist and thing seem to be OK.

			<title><![CDATA[ Cortisone injection ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I finally got to see the Ortho yesterday.  The good news is he says the amount of arthritis in my hip would not be causing the pain I have and not being able
to walk.  He also says unless I live to a very old age, I will not need a hip replacement.
